VidBerry ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the VidBerry mobile application.

When you use our AI generation features (such as photo transformation, face swap, or video creation), photos you upload may contain facial imagery. We collect only the raw photo file you explicitly select from your photo library or camera. We do not collect biometric face data, face maps, facial geometry, or Face ID data.

Your uploaded photos are sent to our AI processing provider (Fal.ai, operated by fal.ai, Inc.) solely for the purpose of generating the AI-transformed output you requested. Before any data is sent, the app requests your explicit consent explaining what data is shared and with whom.

1.6 Third-Party AI Provider Data Practices (Fal.ai)

Fal.ai processes your uploaded photos in real-time to generate AI outputs. Regarding their data storage practices:

Generated output files (which may contain facial imagery) are stored in your personal library within the app and can be deleted at any time. Upon account deletion, all associated generated content is permanently deleted from our servers.

Face data is not sold, shared for advertising purposes, used for facial recognition, or provided to any third party other than Fal.ai for the sole purpose of generating your requested content.

1.7 Instagram Comments and Messages (Meta Platform Data)

Parallax Technologies LLC operates automated replies for its own Instagram professional accounts (for example @vid.berry and @benburakcem) through the Instagram API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you comment on a post of one of these accounts or send it a direct message, Meta sends us the following data:

We use this data only to reply to you: for example, when your comment contains a keyword, we send you the requested link or resource as a private message. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not share it with third parties, and we do not use it to train AI models. Messages are processed on servers we control on Amazon Web Services (Frankfurt, Germany).

Reels and posts you share with us: if you share an Instagram reel or post with one of our accounts in a direct message, we may fetch that media to analyze its format, concept, editing style and effects, so we can describe them to you or use them as a style reference for content you ask VidBerry to create with your own photos and videos. We do not republish the shared media itself. Shared media and the analysis are deleted within 30 days unless you save the result in the app.

Publishing on your behalf: if you connect your own Instagram professional account to VidBerry and ask us to publish content you created in the app, we use the Instagram API to publish that content to your account. We publish only content you explicitly choose to publish, and you can disconnect your account at any time from Instagram settings (Apps and websites) or from the app.

We keep processing logs of these interactions for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically. The conversation itself remains in Instagram under Instagram's own terms. You can stop the automated replies at any time by not commenting with a keyword or by blocking the account.

Deleting your Instagram data: to request deletion of any data we hold about your Instagram interactions, send a message to the account you interacted with or email contact@parallaxtechnologies.net with your Instagram username. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by reply.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Face data retention: Photos you upload for AI processing are not stored on our servers. They are transmitted directly to our AI processing provider, processed in real-time, and deleted immediately after generation is complete. Generated outputs containing facial imagery are retained in your personal library until you delete them or delete your account.

7. Children's Privacy

VidBerry is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
