Clear Wave ("we", "our", or "us"), built by Parallax Technologies LLC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Clear Wave app handles information. In short: the app works on your device and we do not collect your personal data. We collect anonymous usage analytics.
1. Data We Collect
Clear Wave has no user accounts and no advertising. We collect anonymous product-usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. We do not track you across other apps or websites and we do not use the advertising identifier.
1.0 Usage Analytics
We use an analytics provider to record anonymous usage events, for example which screens you open, when a cleaning runs and subscription actions, together with general technical context such as app version, OS version, device model, language and country. This data is not linked to your identity and is used only for analytics.
1.1 Microphone
Sound-quality analysis and the cleaning tools use your microphone to listen to your speaker in real time. Audio is processed live on your device. It is not recorded, saved or sent off your device, and we do not receive any audio.
1.2 On-Device Settings
Your preferences (such as the selected cleaning duration, reminder settings, and subscription status) are stored on your device. This information stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
1.3 Subscriptions and Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. A subscription management provider receives your purchase records together with a random identifier created by the app, so your subscription can be checked and restored.
1.4 Install Attribution
If you installed the app from an Apple Search Ads advertisement, Apple gives the app information about the advertisement that led to the install, such as the campaign, ad group or search keyword. This does not use the advertising identifier and is used only to measure our own advertising.
1.5 Notifications
If you enable the optional cleaning reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No data is sent to us or any third party.
2. How We Use Information
We do not collect personal data. Anonymous usage analytics are used only to understand how the app is used and to improve it.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Anonymous usage analytics and purchase records are processed by service providers acting on our behalf.
4. Your Rights (GDPR)
As we hold no personal data that identifies you, there is generally nothing to access, correct, export or delete on our side. Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings. For any questions, contact us at contact@parallaxtechnologies.net.
5. KVKK Compliance (Turkey)
For users in Turkey, the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) grants rights regarding personal data processing. As Clear Wave does not process personal data that identifies you, these rights are respected. To raise a KVKK question, contact contact@parallaxtechnologies.net.
6. Children's Privacy
Clear Wave is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.
