Water Cleaner ("we", "our", or "us"), built by Parallax Technologies LLC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Water Cleaner app handles information. In short: the app works entirely on your device and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
Water Cleaner has no user accounts and no advertising. We collect anonymous product-usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
We use Mixpanel (a third-party analytics provider) to record anonymous usage events — for example which screens you open, when a cleaning runs, and subscription actions — together with general technical context such as app version, OS version, device model, language and country. This data is not linked to your identity and is used only for analytics. Mixpanel's processing is governed by Mixpanel's privacy policy, and analytics data is processed in the EU.
Sound-quality analysis and the cleaning tools use your microphone to listen to your speaker in real time. Audio is processed live on your device and is never recorded to disk, saved, or transmitted off your device. We do not receive or store any audio.
Your preferences (such as the selected cleaning duration, reminder settings, and subscription status) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you enable the optional cleaning reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No data is sent to us or any third party.
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not use it for any purpose beyond the on-device functionality you trigger yourself.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect any. No data is shared with third parties.
As we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings. For any questions, contact us at [email protected].
For users in Turkey, the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) grants rights regarding personal data processing. As Water Cleaner does not process personal data, these rights are satisfied by design. To raise a KVKK question, contact [email protected].
Water Cleaner is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.
